Are you a theatre maker, or theatre company, hoping to take work to Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2020?
York Theatre Royal are delighted to be once again partnering with The Pleasance to identify and support exceptional artists and companies who want to take work to the Fringe. This programme recognises the extraordinary work being created outside London, and hope to provide tangible support to these companies to present at the Fringe.
“Our 2019 partnership with The Pleasance was hugely exciting and fruitful. We were delighted to be able to support The Roaring Girls with their show Beach Body Ready. Happily, this relationship has continued and the show now forms part of our upcoming season for Spring 2020. This initiative has proved a wonderful chance for us to directly connect with a range of artists and companies, hear their ideas and, hopefully, enable the next stage of their development. We are excited to see what projects are in the making this year.” (John R. Wilkinson, Artistic Associate, York Theatre Royal)
Who is it for?
Artists and/or companies creating theatre in Yorkshire and the Humber who have a piece they are planning to take to Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2020.
