York Theatre Royal and tutti frutti are to host their sixth Little Feet festival of children’s theatre in June 2020. Every two years York Theatre Royal turns its whole building over to 0-12 year olds, introducing them to the magic of live performance using a variety of spaces. This is a call for artists and companies interested in being part of the festival programmes.
In order to create another highly successful festival, York Theatre Royal and tutti frutti are looking for unusual and innovative, high quality work for children. Large and small scale spaces are available for performances, interactive experiences and workshops, plus outdoor areas. There is no restriction on the size, age or art form of any company interested in being part of the festival. We are interested in high quality and diverse work in any discipline that reflects the society we live in. Productions must be touring during the dates of the festival: Wednesday 10th – Sunday 14th June 2020. We have a loose theme around night and bedtime for the festival, however, we are happy to receive submissions on a wide range of subject matter.
Please let us know if we can see your work at the Edinburgh Festival or elsewhere.
All relevant information should be sent before Saturday 17th August 2019 to juliet.forster@yorktheatreroyal.co.uk with the subject line Little Feet.
