York Light Opera Company is searching for two talented canine stars to join the cast of Legally Blonde the Musical this February! The production will run at York Theatre Royal from 13 – 22 Feb.
Following in the paw-steps of Bruiser and Rufus from the hit film, York Light are on the hunt for a fabulous Chihuahua and a boisterous Bulldog to share the stage with our human cast. Think your dog has what it takes?
They are looking for pooches with personality and stage presence. Ideal candidates will be:
Chihuahua: Small, sassy, and full of attitude. Must be comfortable being carried and fussed over by the lead actress.
Bulldog: Charming, chunky, and full of character. Must be happy to walk on a leash and sit on command.
We will also consider similar dogs for each role.
Both breeds must also be comfortable with loud music and applause.
