We are always looking for ways to meaningfully engage with and develop the skills of young people and emerging artists through work placements.

Due to the high number of requests we receive for work experience placements we are unable to respond to speculative requests.

We are now open for expressions of interest for work experience with York Theatre Royal for the academic year 2024/2025 . Please complete this form. The deadline for applications is Monday 25 November at 9am. Interviews will take place Monday 09 December.
Work experience at York Theatre Royal has been an astounding experience for me. I have enjoyed hearing the story of the Grey Lady, seeing a dress rehearsal, going to costume hire, being an usher, interviewing an actor and going backstage! Thanks for everything!
