The Beating Heart of York's Cultural life
We’ve been here since 1744, welcoming and entertaining residents and visitors from far and wide. Our beautiful listed building offers accessible facilities and a friendly welcome to all. We’re a hub for many of the city’s major cultural events and festivals, with a year-round packed programme of live shows from big productions to fringe theatre, dance, opera, musicals and a world-renowned traditional family pantomime. Come inside and see it live.
